midi thru should be active;
in sx be shure to assign the miditrack In to usbcontroller - and Out to scopes sequencersource;
go to recmode on miditrack;
select correct midichannel
hope that helps

in the inspector of the track there is a small button rightsided of the recordbutton under the solobutton with a speaker on it called monitor this should be active (yellow) and rec should be active

hi,

I don't think I'm being clear here, I had recorded track while on USB last monday, Scope was getting midi activity signal, the problem is not Cubase ,as I get midi activity there, whereas, Scope no. I know how to deal with midi in cubase, If I use normal midi cable, it works, but does not work while on USB, I've tried to uninstall it samething, dunno what's going on it's a mistery, I'd like to use USB as it's more versatile than midi thru,

hi,

ty all for your replies, this is the most friendly site on the planet, everyone's willing to help a brotherZ, I've fixed the problem by simply pluging the midi cable , as Scope works only on midi cable, in order to use USB, both midi and USB cable must be connected, I'm happy again , so I'm back on the road again, thanks again for your interest,

hi,

I did that and made all the corresponding configuration in Cubase, but wasn't successful , that's how I discovered the midi and USB connection, but I'll try again when I get back home tonight, thanks again for your reply,

i know i'm stating the obvious, but to get midi to scope via usb, you must put a sequencer midi source module in the routing window and then, in a track in cubase, make usb the source, and creamware midi in/out as the destination and record enable the track. then in scope, connect the sequencer midi source to the required device. it MUST work.
