4-day march canceled

jeez, it's so hot these days here that two people died at the end of the first day of the mega 4-day march event in my town, and there were 5 re-animations.
The nineth edition has been canceled now by the (march and municipal) authorities.

It's weird, as the mega summer festivities that are taking place at the same time (must) go on.

50.000 marchers from all over the world can go home, the one million visitors still are enjoying the music in the streets, fireworks, etc.It's the first time that this happens for that reason, tho there was a dead person also in 1973, and the whole march was also canceled in 1953 when a part of west holland was overflood during wintertime.

Temperature is 36 degrees C, walking on streats adds up to 10 degrees, as does alone walking...

The people who thought it was a good idea to do the 4 day march in this kind of weather are insane anyway. It was pretty obvious from the start that problems would arise, but no, people had to die first before the others got the message.
