Hi
Is possible to change the interface cable? (i have a RCA in/out and i want to buy a Balanced I/O cable)
Where I can buy it.
I have 2 ADA8000 connected via ADAT but Nuendo 3 (Scope 4.5 Asio drive) show, in the ADAT A, only the channels 3 to 8. Why?
Thanks
Interface Cable and Asio question
I don't have a sequencer but I remember something that said asio 1+2 are reserved by default to the main stereo sum.
If you have evenly connected asio1 to adat1, asio2 to adat2 etc then the first 2 (external) connections would be ignored.
Connecting adat1 to asio3 and so on should give you all IO channels - dunno if that can be re-configured in Nuendo.
At least this is not related to balanced/unbalanced connections.
cheers, Tom
btw that box of Rio Caribe Superiore roasted cocoa beans (beneath my monitors) is from your country - delicious

only asio connections are visible inside nuendo. to connect them to adat you must use the routing window. in vst connections(within nuendo) you must enable the additional asio i/o if you want to use more than the first 2.
