Hi,
I'm trying to get windows xp to play a wave file via the scope card.
I have a wave source loaded and I get this error in sound and device props when I try to play a wave.
My onbard sound card works fine though.
The file may be damaged or may use an unrecognized compression format. To resolve this problem, replace the file or use Add/Remove Programs in Control panel ...
regards,
James

Which program do yuo use?
It's smiliar to this solution whatever prg you use.
I'll explain how to do in Winamp:
- Go into "options" and then select "Preferences".
- Go into "Plugins" and select "Output"
- then select "DirectSound Output" and press "Configure". There uou will have a list of available outpute, select "Creamware...". Press "Apply" and "OK".
- Restart Winamp.
Don't forget to do the audio-routing in CW "Routing Window" before.
