Question about Creamware FTP server
Hi,
I am new to Scope and Creamware products, My questions may sound bit stupid. I was just wondering that are all the Scope plugins on the Creamware FTP free plugins?
Whats the difference between OXE files and No-key Oxe files?
And the Scope Project card that I bought came with Scope v4.5 do I have to download 'SYNTH 'N' SAMPLER PACK" separately.
I mentioned it when I emailed Creamware to register my Project card, but I didnt receive any links to download the package that I want, but my Creamware account password and a "allkeys.skf" file.
Any replies would be appreciated.

with their original (automatic) server setup the server generated a file specific for the card's number (key). On 2006-04-10 19:27, Cocytus wrote:

since they changed this due to server trouble a universal file is provided, but (as GaryB wrote), a key is still required.
imho it's the most stupid naming one could choose (filesearching etc)

cheers, Tom
Thank you for the replies,
I am still bit puzzled about the 'SYNTH 'N' SAMPLER PACK". I remember seeing it as a package that you have to choose during product registration. But the email that I received from Creamware didnt mention anything about it.
Seems like my 4.5 installer doesnt have the pack, and the "allkeys" file from Creamware doesnt have the keys either.
What can I do?

if you've bought a regular Scope Project in a shop (online or local), then you should have received keys for Synth & Sampler (according to your choice)
some possibilities:
they simply forgot to generate the keys (Ralf on holiday etc...)
this should be easy to fix as the board can be identified by it's serial
they sold you an older board as 'Scope Project' - the hardware is absolutely identical, but the serial doesn't qualify it for one of the free packs automatically.
Hence your request was ignored - or better had to be, as otherwise one could take any old Pulsar II and request the software with a fake sale (or at least try...)
I'm pretty sure that your supplier can fix this and most likely CWA won't refuse the software - even if the exact legal reading of the conditions says they don't have to provide it.
If this applies, then it's a thing between you and your supplier in the first place.
you bought a 2nd hand card, which is unlikely as you didn't mention it at all
cheers, tom
