After a clean install, this message appears:

"Cant find DSP file P-Plate SP-DIF Source - Please check installation".
With ver 4.0 (same hardware config the error message is another!!!!: "Can't find DSP file
Sync to MIDI - Please check installation").

Please, help.

Hardware: 2 pulsars (1 classic + 1 pulsar 2)
Soft: Win xp sp2.

Thanks in advance.

Although it hasn't happened to me (maybe cos I install from unzipped to disk files?), many people had the same problem before. Searching for "find DSP file installation" should give you some answers.

Try to manually copy the file from CD or ARCHIVE into the corresponding folder. But you should first do the following:

1 - Enable display of hidden files in Windows
2 - Locate the file in question in the installed folder ( yes, it must be there, probably hidden )
3 - DELETE IT
4 - Then copy the same file from INSTALLATION CD - do not overwrite it
5 - Don't ask why, just do it

OK. Solved. Some files were "hidden".

Thanks

Btw, I'm going to post a file that will hopefully help people in the future. This has come up so many times there might as well be a fix.

If they weren't shitty, this would not happen...

It is not a case with any hardware I installed - except for luna.

Drivers have nothing to do with the installation routines.

No... but the whole package comes from the manufacturer... Bad installation routines? what else should I expect from them?
