I have tried to connect the optical output of Noah to my surround sound amplifier.
I cannot get out any sound with any settings of the Noah (yes I did enable it to SPDIF output)

Using the same cable and amplifier with output from PC, PS2 or Minidisc works perfect. However the output from NOAH somehow is not recognised :sad:

Anyone using the Optical Output in SPDIF mode?

I use the SPDIF out format, works fine for me. Have you modified the mixer mains / channel outs to send anything to the optical SPDIF output? You'll want to send things out ADAT 1/2.
