dubious newcomer count on forum
I don't know if anyone will agree or not, but I've often thought there's a rather strange number of newcomers to this forum. I mean sure it's a popular platform & PlanetZ will get copious google hit counts, but sometimes things just don't seem right somehow. Call me over-suspicious or whatever, but I'm very dubious as to whether even half of the newcomers on the forum are ligitimate. More than likely some stinky old trolls regularly setup new email & Z memberships to come in with fake problems. More than likely, fraudsters prowl the purchasing forum (careful everyone ) More than likely existing Z'ers setup several accounts in some cases.

I've always thought it interesting that people could write bots to automatically sign up to forums with the visual code. (the one where you have to see letters in an image) I guess it can be done manually, but it'll be cool to see how they'd write a program to do it. I know that the trick images will throw OCR off, or atleast hinder its accuracy. Pretty interesting.
No time for making music at the moment hubird, I'm busy with a project. I was just taking a short break from that project & having a quick surf on Z, when once again as I often do, I felt some of the newcomers who had posted in several of the forum sections recently were not necessarily ligit. It's just a feeling I get & thought it would be worth mentioning.
BTW Hubird, personally I think it's Z'ers with multiple memberships who post under different names (there must be some) who must be bored & should make more music

The “midi gelatine” technology is a perverse one, its aim is for you to do everything out of time…, of course there are nevertheless people that without the “midi gelatine” technology, have this problem nevertheless… herrmm.
Nonetheless, don’t let the size of Astrakmoornan fool you, it may be the smallest planet on earth, but with them lies, as I said, the most powerful and disgusting midi technology of the universe, the “midi gelatine” technology. How can people get addict to this? Ok, while you play your keyboard or midi instrument, you takes, as you play a note, tastes of gelatine flavour in your mouth, so you get distracted as you play, this is really wicked, isn’t it? So, it doesn’t matter how hard you try to put your notes in place, the “midi gelatine” technology fights against your taste sense, grasping your attention. The worst is that you cannot go to any whatsoever function or edition, without having these tastes coming onto you, once and over and over again… You don’t longer think about music, but about food.

How do I got to know all this amazing story that seems so unreal, and is so real? Well, the last time I was at NAMM, I listening an interesting explanation of Frank, about the power of the new Minimax, the advantage of having it into a box so to perform live, etc., when suddenly, a boy was eating some bad quality burger with lots and lots of pepper. The child passed too close of Frank’s nose, so Frank, I mean Kronorum, involuntarily sniffed some pepper and then “bang” he had the biggest sneeze I’ve ever heard in my life. It was so strong that the 7 gathered people standing there, were thrown back, far away from the place, covered with a yellowish and sticky matter covering our bodies. I fortunately, could hide behind a big studio rack full of equipment, so Kronorum could not see me, as all the other 6 whitens were immediately abducted so they cannot tell anybody what happened.
Now, you may say, is this enough to believe he is an alien? And finally, where did you take the other elements of the story from? Keep reading dear pulsarian… keep reading… and you shall know.
His sneeze was so frenetic, that his real nature came out to a certain extent, I mean, one of his eleven eyes came to be seen in his neck. The eyes of those extraterrestrials are rather big, their head is like a golf ball, but the eleven eyes pending from it are like a human head. When this big eye appeared, I let out a big scream, and so he asked me: “please, don’t attract the attention till I get to the normal human shape, I swear, I will explain it to you shortly”, in perfect English… Fortunately for me, the abduction team had already gone, so I saved me head. They have not killed them or harm them in any way, but they had to be taken to his planet, Astrakmoornan III, with the rest of the Astrakmoonienans, so to stake away of danger from his brother. But don’t worry about them, there are many Pulsar boards for free over there. Some times I even repent not to have been taken, as I would have finally have more DSP!
Then, Kronorum, I mean, Frank, told me all the truth… He asked me to say all the truth, only, and only if we were under pressure or danger from his brother followers, and because his brother allies are actually coming to the forum to try to destroy it, it is my owing to tell you, all the truth.
I know, some may still doubt about the genuineness of my story, it seems unreliable, but it is the real thing.

Nestor, I do think there's occasionally some espionage going on by other pro-audio companies here, sincerely I do... or at least their loyal users. I'm stating the obvious though.

Well, I was carried away by a joke, nothing else. I didn't really contradict your assertion. In fact, I don't believe there is others companies comming to see what is going on, I am convinced to death that it is this way, as you say.
Of course there are people out there with strange interests. I have sometimes read posts without sense, and they are obviously there to try to put the platform down. I firmly belive it. Perhaps they are not about 300 new commers you know?, but a few you can be sure are there for this.
