Hi
I just upgraded 4 to 4.5 with 98e bundle. I had many projects using the 2448 mixer before. But now when using 4896 I get clicks and pops! Has anyone else had this?

the 4896 uses more dsp than the 2448, i don't know on wich creamware card you are working (on your web site i see pulsar), maybe it's too large for a single pulsar.

Micron, I belive that it just don't be loaded if it can't fit the dsps. So maybe something related to the computer resources IMHO.

Hi thanks for replys
I have a pulsar 1 and 2 running together. It takes up bout 90% of the p2, once around 80 connections are established.
Assigning to one or the other board seems to really affect audio quality.
Scope 4.5 has made p2 board 1/master and p1 board 2/slave. It doesnt seem to like being manually assigned a board. I use a sync plate and run at 2nd or 3rd fastest latency for GSIF.

Clicks appear to have stopped once I took off all reverbs in scope.

Although I have a 3ghz cpu with 2gb ram, I suspect the shared ram video card might not agree with ram intensive scope plugins. Still not definate on this. Running xp pro sp2.
