I use LOGIC 6.4.2 and the latest version of OMS with Creamware 4.0. Whenever I reset the samplerate in SCOPE I get strange and irregular transposed MIDI playback. (my software instruments in LOGIC play the wrong notes) MIDI playback in SCOPE is not affected. The MIDI monitor (in LOGIC) indicates the proper notes but playback is wierd. Any body have this problem?

My only current solution is to remake my Project in SCOPE..can be cumbersome.

Is there a certian version of OMS that works best with LOGIC or is this a problem with SCOPE.

Any other MAC OS9 users want to create a group for MAC/SCOPE Users?

Thanks,

i don't use Logic i'm afraid - but i have to ask why are you resetting the samplerate? Do you do this with Logic open or do you close it first?

as Arkadin suggested it is better that you change the samplerate only when the sequenver is closed.

Actually, I'm trying to figure out how I can avoid this altogether.

If I go over my DSP limit at all I get the same problem. I then can never use that particular project with LOGIC - I have to create a new one from scratch.

I know that I can avoid the problem with some creative saving and template projects, but I want to understand what is actually causing the problem. I took many hours of trial and error to figure out when the symptom occured originally.

Is the best way to solve the problem avoiding it?

Just wondering if it might be OMS or LOGIC and not SCOPE!

Thanks,

Steb

When you change the samplerate in Scope Logic will have to adjust somehow to the new settings.

I don't see this as being a Scope Problem as you noted that no problem in Scope Midi.

I am not sure if your way of changing the samplerate in the middle of a project is the way to go as everything will then have to adjust to the new samplerate setting.

maybe someone with a MAC can shed some light here.

Still not really understanding your problem - why would you ever start a project in one samplerate and then change? i know that doesn't solve your problem, but i think you're creating problems for yourself that you don't need to.
