Hi All, having trouble with CUbase SX 3, Pulsar 2 running Scope 4 and a MOTU Midi Express XT.

It seems like sometimes, well, most of the time, when I record MIDI into cubase, it ends up time displaced.

Seems like some kind of latency issue, so I dropped the SCOPE settings down to 3ms/441.Khz in the ULLI panel. That seemed to fix it for about 10 minutes, but now it's come back, just the same as it was before

Any ideas what I could be doing to cause this? It only seems to affect MIDI, not audio..

Symptoms are that if I record MIDI with Cubase's click going, and play rigidly in time with the click, when I then play the track back, the midi note is played BEFORE the matching click from Cubase. Huh?!

However, if I record audio, it's perfectly in sync :-S (I tested this by recording the click track to an audio track and then playing it back with the click playing, there's wasn't even any noticeable phasing...)

Any ideas greatfully recieved?

Where would I find the DirectX panel and why would Direct3D make a difference?

Nope, don't think Direct3D has much to do with it:

Probably due to the ignoremidiportfilter file being in the wrong directory. You are probably using the wrong midi drivers.
