not much of a rock person myself.. but I definitely know the rock sound... funny you say pop.. I think this is very good rock. Not trashy popped up rock, if you get what I mean. It's got a very perfected, mature flow to it that I can listen to without being nervous. very good! And very pure rock spirit!

I'm still unsure about the drums - mainly the fills - but on listening to my collection of 70's music - it's pretty close.

I'll leave it for a while to get it out of my head

ya, that's it. It's definitely got that 70's classic rock feel. (kinda scratched an itch I couldn't reach)
