I was seeing horrible performance with 4.0.3 with my dual opterons . As a last resort I lowered my PCI latency from 96 to 64, all is well now. I have been fighting this for weeks as Creamware tell us duallie users to raise the PCI latency, not lower it. Thought I would give anyone in the same boat a heads up.
