I've reinstalled all the software again and again in these days, but, till today, there were ever something going wrong.

On the first time the troubles seemed to start after I disabled windows paging file.
I've read somewhere it's possible to do so, having enough RAM...
There's 1 GB RAM mounted, and running my larger projets, windows allocate less than 600 MB in total, so I went to try...
The results were in data loss and error messages like: the instruction xxxxxxx try to write the memory location xxxxxxx; the memory can't be written.
The system remained instable even when the standard paging file settings were restored.

OK. I formated again.
Installing chipset drivers (the newer version, downloaded from Asus), the computer went to reboot, but an application didn't responding stopped the process. Name of the application: Should not see me(???) I had similar "apparitions" in the past with my previous machine during the installation of updated ATI drivers.

System still unstable (freezes)

Then
Low level format (quick).
Modified blocks value of the Intel Raid partitions (the larger value for both the partitions).
Modified size of the partitions.
Installation of the OS in the partition used before for data.
This in the hope of a clean boot sector.

All the applications seems to run fine now; no freezes neither error messages.
The audio goes fine without clicks or noises with ULLI settings of 4ms @ 44100.

But I've some little problem inside Scope 4:
Trying to send midi clock signal to the Mod III midi clock module, it recognized random values till I rebooted, then it worked.
OK "minimize".

Now I have set a startup project, but if I exit Scope and then reload it, I've the default project.
Bad sign?

Thinking about reinstalling Scope, I remember that, during the second "building up", in condition of the system unstability, the uninstalling of the CW platform resulted in a lot of non Scope items also deleted in the program files directory (???)
So now I'm wondering if it's better re-setup Scope without uninstall it before, or try again.

There's also an audio problem feeding spdif input with an external device (device as master, Scope as slave, 44100 Hz, no sync):
The whole audio stream sometimes disappear with a click for a bunch of seconds, then... a click and all sounds again.
Does anyone had similar issues?

did you save this project as your default project and the project or as startup.
this is done in the live bar: set/settings/projects. click on save project as Default and save project as Startup.

Yes the project was saved and resaved as startup, but...
Sorry, saying default project I mean the SFP.pro.

I saved my project as startup, not as default.
I think I can set different projects as startup or default; or I'm wrong?

The thing goes this way: when Scope is loaded in the boot process I get the project I saved as startup, but if I close and reload Scope, often I get the SFP.pro in the routing windows.

It should be correct, the Windows boot starts the startup, the icon on the desktop starts the default one. they are different files.

Thank you Alfonso.
I'll keep the system under observation for a couple of day, then I'll make a backup if it's all right (I'm REALLY tired of setup wizards), then I'll try to install the rest of the software. I've left the potentially critical programs till last.

And I haven't yet done some of the tweaks a DAW requires, like system clock priority, disabling unused services and so on.
I've just disabled some graphical fx like animation of the windows while opening/closing, showing the contents while dragging and some other; and I've given CPU priority to background processes.

I've still to examine the matter in depht, but the spdif fault is related to transients down the main voltage line:
when I set on the table lamp it always happens.
Other similar events in the home wiring make it happens.

I've just connected CW spdif input to the onboard audio spdif output and there's no audio interruptions when I turn on/off the lamp.
So the fault come from the Line6 Pod pro digital out.

Does anyone has any advice to solve this?

I'm in apposition to post to Line6 but I'm in fear to receive answers like:

you've to use the word clock out in order to have correct functionality

or:

send us the device

It's out of warranty and functional in every other feature, so I should prefer to solve in a different way...
