cubase & reason

i can get cubase OR reason running, but not reason AND cubase.

i'm using an m-audio 410.

here's my checklist of things to do i've been told:
1) start cubase sx 2.2
2) then start reason 2.5

With this, cubase started fine, but reason locked up. somebody said i need Rewire, but another told me Rewire is always running if you have either of the programs.

Enable Rewire channels for Reason in SX's Device (afaik) menu.

yeah.. thats pretty much it. they run seemlessly together. just make sure you have plenty of ram. dual monitor display will help out a bunch too.
