Playing around with IRQ settings and manage to get Top(of 3 cards) on IRQ 5 while next card is on 11 and next on IRQ 4.
Would this create any problems?
If I set IRQ5 to high priority in Registry, would this also help.
seems like a lot of extra trouble for a miniscule possible performance increase. just make sure that the cards share irqs with nothing except maybe each other....
Thanks for quick answer Gary.
Could you confirm that my top pulsar2 card is controlling everything on IRQ5 or do the other two Pulsar 1's stream their DSP through their own IRQ.
Not exactly sure how its all working with CPU and O/S.
Your primary card should be the PCI connection for the other cards afaik. This is why a Pulsar1 can take advantage of the ulli settings of a newer card when its in the system, provided it is set as the first card in the system of course.
if you can set latency below 13ms @44.1k, the p2 is the first card in the system. if not you can change the cset.ini file as in the manual or uninstall, put the p2 card in the computer so that it is in the first position(closest to the agp slot) and let windows reinstall the driver....
