I can't seem to get all cards on IRQ5.
I have Asus p800 se.
Is it possible?
I've tried switching off IRQ steering and am running in standard PC,but one card seems to be sharing with AGP card.
Also plug and play is set to off in BIOS
Thanks

IRQ 5
Music Manic, IRQ 4 is almost the lowest priority, but does it give you any problems? Don't fix it unless it's broken eh.

yes.
i'm not meaning to gloat, preach or be offensive, but better to get a stable system, and work within it's limitations, than to endlessly fiddle with the computer...
i have set up a number of machines and i NEVER have to work as hard as some of y'all...
as long as my hardware isn't broken and there are no shared irqs, scope ALWAYS works for me. i guess to squeeze that last bit of performance out...but most of the great records of all time were made with less gear than a scope professional card and a handful of vsts offer...

there you go.i wouldn't worry much about the irq forcing issue. most motherboards seem to work that way....
as far as my setup, i have 2 computers running intel d850mv mobos w/ nvidia vid cards and 2gb rdram. one is a p4 3.2 and one is a 1.8. i have built 5 or 6 with the intel d865perl and a couple of later dells with p4s and intel chipsets. in the past i had a slot a 850mhz athlon on an asus a7v(via chipset) which worked well enough, and a dual p3 1ghz on an asus p3d w/ rambus...
