I have recently jumped into my modular 2 and been doing some reading on all the different components. I started exploring the posibility of using modular for effects processing.

After reading some articles on multi fx they mentioned using an envelope follower to decrease reverb levels when the mix was loud and increase reverb level when the signal decreased.
So can the envelope genrated from an incoming audio signal control overall levels or individual controls of an effect?

This lead to me thinking of all sorts of effects possibilities. The only software version of envelope followers i can find after searching is in the modular device, which is why I have started looking at this device for this application.

I have been thinking how i could create a paticular effect using my modular2. I want to control the speed of a tremelo on a guitar signal. I know i could do this with midi automation but that would mean playing the part then automating the control (time consuming). What i am after is to create a effect that will do it in real time.

Cheers

that's easy.
1)tremolo speed:envFollow->LfoA RMod
2)dry/wet level:envFollow->XFadeMod XMod
