latin feelings

Post by Nestor »

Ok, here we are again, today I am posting a new demo, the number two in fact.

This one has a lot to do with Latin music and Latin-Jazz too. I have used some of the latest samples I’ve recorded about 10 days ago.

You’ll get an idea of what you can do with these bass lines… I have to say I like them very much, and the natural feeling inserted on them. I have achieved what I was looking for in regard to this particular Latin feeling. I hope you like this little demo.

Of course, the bass is the main instrument here, and the rest is just a justification for it to be heard, perhaps by the end I will build entire songs with proper leads and full harmony, for you to appreciate the real meaning of a “hot bass line” down there… Enjoy!

You’re right Ken, in fact, it is funk! But I am referring exclusively to the bass lines. Anyway, I had been thinking about how to describe the styles played, and I just give up, you can add a bass line with a different rhythm and it sounds like a diffrent music style, there are too many and they are quite close to each other sometimes, most of all being 4/4 almost alwyas.

Glad you like it, there will be some more!
Cheers…
