Ahahahahaha!

I was having a beer with a couple of friends last night before they drove down to Glasto. We did try warning them that a *huge* thunderstorm was heading our way, but they chose not to believe us...

I am going to Roskilde Festival next week. That one is pretty big ... and it has this hard to translate nick name, indicating there is always rain there. I remember some years ago, I arived late, so I got one of the bad tent spots - 20 minutes walk to the music areas ... 50 minutes after all the "roads" where turned into deep piles of mudd - leaving me with only one option ... walking all the way in the side, where there was still a bit of grass ... where people would go for a pee. Those shoes never recovered.

much more so than loosing your shoes because the mudd is so sticky, it will not let you take them with you.

Is this a hippy / feral thing ? They like rolling in filth don't they ? Seriously though I heard that quite a few port-a-loos were submerged and the infected mud then carried a risk of dysentry...

I remember a similar situation at Maleny (now Woodford) festival years ago - it certainly brought everyone to the same level!
