Recording in XTC Mode with SONAR 4?

Hi all, I have been using Pulsar2 for several years now and I am now experimenting with XTC mode using SONAR 4. I am able to playback audio using Creamware and Timeworks plugs under SONAR 4 but I can't seem to get my head around how I might be able to record audio from within SONAR 4 via ADAT, S/PDIF or Pulsar2 Analog In while still under XTC mode. Any suggestions?
