Hi. I'm thinking of selling my PowerPulsar and buying Noah EX, since I almost exclusively do live-gigs. I know it's possible to use for ex B2003 and Minimax simultaneously in N-EX. Is this "multi-setting" stored in a preset, so you can switch between "multi-setups" with midi program change messages? If so - is the loading slow ( slow being over 1s imo )? Is the unit reliable, i.e. can you trust it with keeping programmed volumes etc.? Very grateful for all "reviews" / opinions...

Hi.
I’m a guitar player using guitar synth and I think that Noah is a nice piece of gear for live-gigs, but I would like to say few things before you decide. You can switch between "multi-setups" with midi program change messages but the loading time in multi mode depends on instruments included in the setup, and it is more or less 2 seconds (even sometimes 3 seconds) which is a serious latency if you change the setup during the song for solo or new coming episode. As you know, in Noah, you can install all the devices and the presets to an external compact flash card in place of the internal flash memory. I was wondering if I can reduce the loading latency by using a fast compact flash card (100x, like the APACER steno pro II), I contacted Jens from Creamware Technical Support, but he told me that the internal flash is faster then any cf card available at the moment. In the other hand, it’s very stable and the sound quality is very good for my ears.
