It is a pretty good track, excellent flow of the singer.
I think there is something to do with the balance of the background/eq instruments, so they can be heard more clearly. They are all good sounds. The voice is very well mixed, i like it when it "flies" over the mix.
For the instruments, I do not know if the kick is too loud or too long or if it is good like that. May be I would have made the snare a bit more agressive personnally.
I don't understand a word but I liked the track.

Opinion: I'm looking for some release. I'd like backing vocals @55sec .... 2.03....2.39 to have a few more notes toward a simple melody/harmony. And when the backing kicks in, I'd like it to be more full, (maybe even dropping the main vocal out).

Then when the main vocal kicks in, the backing could go sparse again. Tension, release. Tension, release. I guess a little more variation in the structure, as your other piece has.
