Why are the levels so low in timeworks plugins.VU shows very low levels and have to apply gain to get anything usable, which affects mix.

Thanks

I use STW compressors and EQ, and that thought never crossed my mind... Which effects are you talking about? The reverbs?

You mean the level meter?
Or levels in general?

Both reverb and compressor x.
When you set VU to input it shows level, which always seems to be low at 0Db(on timeworks gain)even though there's a healthy level on mixer.

I just know, that if I feed it with say -10dB from my mixer, then set treshold at -30db and ratio at 4, I get nowhere near 15dB of reduction. Actually, I gave up using it, because it was far too time consuming.
