We have neophyte poster using the screen name "bobmoog" posting here as of today.
Is it in fact THE Bob Moog? He says occupation "synth designer" in his profile.
It would be awfully cool if it is in fact him. I wonder.
If it is, Welcome Bob!

Why? Is it inconceivable to you that Bob Moog would be using Creamware gear in his own studio?

Let's just say that unless he had an Oxford education then Bob Moog would spell favourite the American way. Bit of a giveaway

What could someone possibly hope to gain by impersonating Bob Moog on the Creamware Forum?
It would be silly and pointless...wouldn't it?

I doubt it...HIGHLY! Why would he support a competitor? I'm sure he makes cash from lending his name to those Arturia plugs.
If the user in question isn't Mr Moog, it's a pretty dorky move to use that as a user name. JMO

Well, his email address is in the UK, so I'm doubting this is the one true Bob Moog. Perhaps just a fan.
In any case, I'll contact Bob at Moog Music to verify.
Cheers,

I have received confirmation from Moog Music that this user is NOT Bob Moog.
I've changed his username accordingly, to notbobmoog
