agggh! what am i doing wrong??

I cant get any effects to work as sends only inserts, worse if i try then i lose all audio untill i restart sfp!?

It's quite hard to get the picture when not knowing exactly what it is you are doing....routing etc which devices... for example what/wich mixer(s) are you using?
