Using nuendo2 as sequencer.
how do you connect a synth so you can use the ext. sync so it automatically syncs with the tempo of the seq.???????

Which synth??

You need to find the parameter (on the synth) that says something like "Sync to external midi clock" or "Ext Sync". This is normally in the "Midi" menu found inside the "Global" menu or the equivalent menu type on your particular synth.

Cheers

you have to set (in Nuendo) Clock messages going out from Nuendo through the Cw Midi port and it will come in Scope from the corresponding Sequencer Midi Source

Not sure with Nuendo but Sx has a synchronisation setup window somewhere in the "transport" menu which configures your midi routing etc... You can also set Sx to "Internal Sync" via the transport bar.

Transport tools are also available by right click on the transport bar.

Hope that does it for you in Nuendo.
