Does the Intel D865PERL have CPU fan speed control?

As I can't really tell whether my fan is getting any slower or speeding up? Isn't this mobo supposed to have fan control?

yes, i believe it does...is it hot or noisy? does it work ok other than that?

The board is a dream for stability, and since installing I have even managed to stabilize my ever-annoying video card. It is more stable than anything I have had.

I think the fan control is only for chassis fans, as the CPU fan will not change no-matter what I do. it's not overheating and its not too noisy but if it can be turned down then all the better.
