weird problem

hey everybody, i am suddenly having a rather strange problem. Everytime i start up sfp, it loads and then the mousepointer, starts changing between the arrow and the rotating scope sign(indicating it loads) and it just keeps on doing this, slowing down everything else...
Tried reinstalling and upgrading to sfp4.0 but still the same.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Maybe a corrupted default project?....try removing it or the reference to it in your cset file and restarting Scope for starters.

do you have a steady clock? or the samplerate keeps flicking?

is scope master clock? it should be but strange things happen sometimes....
