Hi,

I'm a newbie here. I just got my Pulsar XTC off ebay and I have the following problem: The Pulsar plugs don't refer any info to Nuendo, so they're automatically disabled. Even if I enable them manually in the plug-in information window, they only appear in the VSTfx menu (both VSTfx and VSTi) and nothing appears in the VSTi menu. Even then, when I try to insert one as a channel/FX channel effect, nothing happens. No error message, nothing. The slot remains empty as it was before.

I saw GonZoft's topic @ the Tips & Tricks section of the forum, but, since I don't use any Creamware I/O, I don't know if all these apply to my case.

BTW, I installed Scope v.4.0 and the installation ran smoothly. I installed the software @ C:SFP and pointed the VST installer @ C:Program FilesSteinbergVstPlugins, where they were installed in a folder named "XTC".

Whether I launch the Scope SW before launching Nuendo or not launch it at all makes no difference.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Akis

Just some more info:

I tried using Tracktion and I got this message for each plug-in that was scanned (and then disabled):

The procedure entry point ?CloseBackgroundProject@ScopeApp@@MAEXXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library RAPI.dll.

Wavelab 5 scans them and then they just dissapear from the program, even from the "Organize Master Section Plug-in" window.

Thanks, I just got rid of ActiveSync. Everything seems to work as it should now.

I just did the search for RAPI.dll, as was suggested by piddi, and found that this file was part of ActiveSync. Now I'm trying to find why I can't run Bluesynth... :s
