A legendary board
Will the DP linsence "disapear", or is it possible to get it transfered?

according to Frank Hund they don't extend those old licenses to the new SDK if the system is sold.
The original licensee (Neutron in this case) would be allowed to continue commerical work with the new SDK - (imho) in a special agreement or on goodwill base (?).

Currently it doesn't make a big difference, as DP and SDK are almost identically, but this might change in future.

The DP license is only valid for what was released as DP, and only in this context it is transferable - so Neutron is absolutely right - it's a big loss for him

Imho it is a very unfortunate solution - I was about to buy a 2nd hand Scope with DP too, recently - until my question to CWA was answered as above...

cheers, Tom

it sold nicely. is it ok to just give the new owner my login/pass and let him change it how he wants. after all its all the plugins sold with the cards. so plugs do not have to be transfered.
