wordclock
I use a Lucid AD converter box with a A16U.The Lucid is connected via AESBEU.I have to make the Lucid the master because for some reason when something is connected through AESBEU it has to be the master.I have the A16U connected via Z-link.What I am wondering is, should I connect the wordclock between the Lucid and the A16U,or just leave it alone. Which is better? Any thoughts? Thanks.

I haven't been able to get the A16U to work with Z-Link and wordclock slave. The green slave LED lights up, but the A-D and D-A refuse to work.
If you switch to using ADAT cables with your A16U then you should slave to the wordclock. That works fine.
Otherwise if you stick with Z-Link, try out the wordclock to see if you get the same troubles I do -- but expect that you'll have to end up slaving to computer.
