Hi all! I'm experimenting some issues with my new system:

-Crackles, especially when I lower the latency to 4ms, but even with longer latencies,
-instability with certain vst plug-ins causing crashes of my sequencer and sometimes reboots.

I've made all recommended tweaks I think, my pulsar is in pci slot 5, which is suposedly appropriate... I can't control irq assignments though, and my cw cards always ends up with irq 21 (not sharing it with anything else), I'm not sure if this is good or not, but I don't know if it's possible to change this.

So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

My system:
asus p4p800 SE
P4 2.8 ghz
2 seagate HD
ATI video card

Cheers!

If you want to try something for the IRQ numbers, boot into your BIOS and set the Plug-N-Play-OS setting the other way round.

... You mean to change the setting of this function?

Actually, I just flashed the latest bios and things have improved dramatically... No click yet! I'll test some more tomorrow and try to push my system to see what happens... But it seems very encouraging for now!
