Hi all, I would be grateful for some help with a problem I have run up against!!!

I currently run a pulsar with cubase and a Yamaha 01V96, but I cannot seem to get my midi keyboard to access synths hard or soft.

I am running the keyboard through a midiman 4x4 along with a virus(which is working)

I would be grateful for any suggestions

Cheers
Laurence

P.s
I don't know if this will help, but I have noticed that my midi in is constantly flashing red within the Cubase toolbar and on my 01v96. This is even when I am not playing any instruments

your keyboard could propagate it's presence by sending the 'active sensing' midi command or timecode. The first is a very frequent thing, the latter not so often.

You need the midi-ox (free) router software to publish the midi interface to Scope - or possibly set Cubase to midi-through and receive through a sequencer source module, but I'm not exactly shure (I don't have Cubase).

cheers, Tom

Cheers Astroman, I will try the midi-ox software tonight and let you know what happens.

Thanks again.
