Could someone please inform me if there is a difference between the Luna II or Scope Home. I was supposed to get a ‘Scope Home’ card but instead, was sent a Luna II.
I am aware that the hardware is the same and I can load v4.0c software with the Luna II; but do the ‘Scope Home’ packages come with extra device keys/software etc. Have I been disadvantaged for being sold a Luna II as opposed to a ‘Scope Home’?

thankyou

I imagine when you register the card on "MyPage" at the creamware website, it would automatically come up as Scope Home, as long as the card has never been registered before, with all software associated with it. If not, try sending them a mail explaining the situation and I'm sure they will be accomodating.

Hi,

as long as your board qualifies for the extra software bundled with Scope 4.0 then it is Scope Home.

the naming does not matter as it may be displayed as Luna/CreamWare DSPboard/Scope Home etc... All this it does not matter. wnay should matter to you is that you got all the 4.0 software that comes with the latest Scope Home. (this is as mentioned only on newly bought boards)

I have purchased a new board but been sent Luna II instead of 'Scope Home'. You mentioned "...you got all the 4.0 software that comes with the latest Scope Home. (this is as mentioned only on newly bought boards)".
It is a newly bought board but an old model (Luna II), so would I now miss out on extra software as provided with 'newly bought' SCOPE HOME boards?

no you shouldn't. if you have the sales receipt the worst that can happen is it might take a couple of days to fix the error. register the card.

did it come with 4.0 software? that is the first clue. if it came with the 4.0 software then everything is already cool. if it came with 3.1c, then i would contact the distributor in your area(your dealer can help) to make sure that the card gets flagged properly in the cwa database.

don't worry, all the first "scope home"s came in luna2 packages.
