Has anyone tried setting A16 Ultra as wordclock slave, and also SFP as wordclock slave?

I get no sound (in or out) from my A16U.

(Changing the A16U to Z-Link Slave works fine.)

Anyone else seen this? Any workarounds?

Thanks + cheers,

Johann

You need something to be master. Maybe that is, what hapens, when you set a Z-link device to slave - Scope knows, that the other end will be master?

The wordclock is master. But as far as I can tell CreamWare doesn't let you set both SFP and the A16U as slaves.

Have you tried this type of setup Immanuel?

Thanks!

No, but you didn't mention any specific unit to be word clock master, so it could look as if you just connected your Scope system with an a16u and put both as word clock slaves.

Just currious, what unit do you use as word clock master?

Oops. you're right. Sorry about that!

I'm using a Lucid GenX6-96, set to 44.1 kHz on each output.

(The Lucid clocks are quite cheap at Pacific Pro Audio, BTW. Service is great too.)

Cheers,
