Can of beans, all tube, from 1958.

They don't make 'em like this any more.

This is the original Heinz with the old school label depicting a smiling housewife.

Re-capped in 2001.

Make me an offer.

Yes but sometimes you get PCI overflow. That really sucks cuz then you have to clean the connectors.

I also have some vintage toast, for all you Britons. Nothing gives you that warm "British sound" like beans on toast for breakfast...

Too bad they are recapped. They are only half breed semi vintage then. They do not taste bad the right way then. They are not FAT enough. Too little background noise and sudden leaks and crashes.

Yes, sudden leaks can definitely be a problem with vintage beans. However the old cap was moldy so I had no choice. Still they are fat, as beans go. Hell I'll even throw in some bacon bits and pork rind if you don't think they're fat enough!

Would you be interested in selling them separately?

I'll take four! I like the green & hairy ones best. The basic waveform is very good for creating wind instruments.

Beans sound great in a tuba. They'll give you a nice warm "muted tuba" sound. Be careful you don't suck any through the mouthpiece though. Otherwise you'd better be an expert at the inordinately difficult auto-Heimlich Maneuver.

You can still get spare beans. However make sure you buy the genuine NOS beans. The newer ones made in China just don't have that thick gravy on them.

Counterparts, I PMed you about shipping. Have you had a chance to fill out the Dangerous Substances Import Waiver Form I sent you?

4 sold, 1037 to go.
