I've been thinking about this for some time now.

I originally ordered my first Pulsar II board (6 DSP) with the standard I/O plate (phono plugs/sockets & sp/dif digital).

For the same money, I ended up with the pro pack (at the time, it was the only one in the UK!)

Initially, I thought 'good', but I don't really need the balanced I/O or the AES/EBU digital interface, so am willing to trade for a standard I/O plate - a direct swap, no cash involved.

If somebody would like to trade with me, there's a slight catch; the trader needs to send me their standard I/O plate first - I will send them the pro plate immediately upon receipt of the standard I/O plate.

Each sender pays their end of the postage.

PM me if interested!

"bump"

I thought I'd give it one more go before forgetting about it altogether...

Sorry, I should have updated this thread.

A friend offered me his rather nice valve preamp at a price that I couldn't really refuse (balanced ins/outs only), so I have decided to keep with the pro plate after all.

Apologies again to risan for putting him through plate-unscrewing hassles!
