Hiya,

I have this weird problem with my system, every now and then at random I get this strange error:

A communications error with PowerSampler (board2) has occured. This problem can normally be corrected by reloading the DSPs. Do you want to try that ?

Yes/No

this ofcourse doesn't help.
Any suggestion are welcome,

Regards,
Ronald

when you say it doesn't help - what actually happens ?......whenever I have been asked to do this, I have had to switch samplerate to slave & back again to get the dsps properly reloaded.
I think it could be due to excessive data transfer between cards or across the PCI bus ?......I found using Minimax + the original STW Plate reverb together could cause it - haven't had it since updating the plate though.

Hi Plato,

Maybe I should just move back to SFP 3.1c, or better get rid of/trade in the PS + one Luna I/O box and get me an RME HDSP 9632, I've just had it with trouble shooting. Most of the time it runs without a problem, but when it starts playing up, I might as well quit, since there's no way of getting rid of this problem. And the next day (or hour) it could be gone.

I earn my money as a LAN administrator during the day, but feel more and more like one too at night and in the weekends when I want to play/record music.

regards
Ronald

Or get the SRB so you can use Scope to its full potential....Pulsar II + SRB is just great - no complaints here.

tnx for the invitation Roon, but I don't have no Scope SRB
the CZ might contribute significantly via eBay, though - dunno why they are so expensive.
Possibly because they are easy to carry and there exist special setups for music from the Balkan area

cheers, Tom
