The vocals here are a mixture of voice synthesiser and real quotes. I had some luck with modulating the delayed pitch on the main line "The Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead" and will be trying that again - makes it sound a lot more human.

But I'm still waiting for a decent voice synth (no, not Vocaloid!).

I also tried a different compression routine when mastering so any comments on that are especially welcome.

this guy is really good
(you don't need a voice synth...)
I would love to add a guitare (i'll let you know).

I like the synth that accentuates the beats. I guess it's not that complex, but it's brutal, sudden, and effective. Didn't think much of the mastering, but I think that means your new method succeeded cuz everything sounded natural. Great detail in the highs.

(because you asked) The only thing that I can say about the mastering is that it's got to be a hard one with all the radio noise and the synth high end sitting up there in the same freq. Anyway, if you were to ask me I'd say focus more on the synth bottom end and maybe that might make it easier. Mind you I'm listening through crappy iMac speakers at the moment so I'm probably not hearing it right.
Composition-wise, I enjoyed it and thought it presented a powerful theme.
cheers

Well, I am a bit speechless, because I really don´t know what I should say about this track. It is very strange to me. I´ve listen to this three times now and I still don´t know what I should say.

About the mastering, I can say that this track could have some more pressure, my table isn´t shaking and my monitors don´t flicker(my mastering secret, when the monitors start to flicker, I´ve reach the "in your face" pressure )

I´ve to listen to this later the day, don´t know what I should say at the moment, sorry.
I´m confused.

Great post industrial feel to it. Reminds me of the smoldering baked earth after the apocalypse. Nothing left alive but still the evil lingers.

Fantastic Spirit!!
Probably could be a little more punchy, but don't lose the bottom end spatial effect.
I can hear more percussion somewhere as well, may be some intense toms or army type drums.......However it is not my composition and I love it anyway!

I love this atmospheric kind of stuff.

If I had to be critical of something it would be the drums, it would be nice to hear more variation in that department. I would give the top end some slow panning and/or "animation", a slowly modulated LP filter perhaps? varied with quick S/H modulation, very subtle though, and way up there (but that's just me!). I think maybe some hand kind of hand drum playing the same rhythm (djembe) would add some more "feel" and variation to the track.

The synth work is wonderful! I love filter sweeps!

It's pretty cool as is though!
