Cubase 5 and Tascam DM 24 via MIDI

Hi,
how I can control Cubase 5 on a P4 2GHz with a Luna and a Pulsar SRB via MIDI from the Tascam DM 24 using the Luna MIDI-ports?

I dont get a connection between the pc and the DM 24, whats about the routing in Scope 4.0?

Is there a program to control if the MIDI ports are working and well connected?

Connect your sequencer midi ports to your Luna's port in the routing window.

Then set Cubase to HUI midi control. Then set the DM24 to HUI emulation mode.

And that should do it.

Does Cubase 5.1 support HUI-Mode? I didn't find it in the list.

That I'm not sure about.

I would assume that it would though, considering that Nuendo does and I also believe that SX does also.

You may want to check at the Steinberg website for further information.

Hi,

thanks for your tip, it works after connecting the sources and destinations.
I created a generic file with my needed controls, HUI-Mode isn't supported under Cubase 5.
