Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade a Pulsar II (classic I/O) to Pulsar II (Plus I/O)?

If so, what's the way to go? I can't find it at the Creamware site.

Any help is appreciated!

Best regards,

Marcel

Hi Marcel, well, you have to get another IO board, and it seems unlikely to me if you can exchange the old and the new one at CWA
If you have a good relationship with your dealer I could imagine some great service from them.
What you for sure can do is sell and buy them as used.
good luck

The problem is that they're not available seperately. So you'll have to buy a complete new Pulsar II !!!

is that true?
That'd be sad.
I would contact CWA anyway, or your quality dealer, and see where you can get.

I myself made a mistake when I bought my Pulsar2, a few years ago now.
I got an InOut board without Z-link, while I planned working with Luna boxes, these
would come later due to delivery problems.
After several weeks I got the boxes, then I saw my mistake (stupid me, yes  ).
While having used the card for weeks I was allowed to exchange it for the good one!
The Store's name is Music Store, Köln/Germany, notice I'm from the Netherlands.
Moral: never despair
