I have sequently saved 3 .PRO's. Upon reloading they crash SFP (pepscope.dll). Loading the .PRO's on a friends' Scope4 systems works without problems. When saved again on my friends' system [edit] as a new .PRO [/edit], It *still* crashes my system.
All my other .PRO's open without problem.

I reinstalled Scope over the old one. Still crashing. I installed a new Scope4 in another folder: still crashing. I completely removed the drivers and reinstalled them: still crashing. I mumbled some nasty words: still crashing. Everything else works fine.

System: PIV-2.66 1GB RAM
patch: 1632 mixer with a couple of inserts (2 x Optimaster, PsyQ, 31-band EQ; I carefully tweaked the settings for mastering a difficult live session, so I want to restore my settings)

Anyone?

Hoi Ernest,

Maybe the project contains an old device that causes the crash? That device could be different from your machine to your friends', for example if you assigned cc# to it and saved it. I troubleshoot that by renaming or moving suspected devices, so they are not loaded in the project.
Also, with Live Bar expanded, it hangs at any specific moment of loading usually. Does that progress indicator make you any wiser?

Hope this helps,

Bedankt for your reply Atomic!

No old devices (just the mixer, OptiMaster, GraphEQ and PsyQ). Maybe the least complex .PRO I ever saved
All devices were installed directly from the original Scope4.
Progress indicator seems to loads all devices, and then Scope crashes. I have not assigned any CC, nor did I create any preset for the modules.
I'm really puzzled....

If nothing works, I will have a friend create presets for the inserted effects and then recreate the project by opening those presets. And then forget about this problem and continue making music

Problem fixed:

I replaced the order of the Scope-boards (14DSP SRB first, 6DSP Pulsar second)
I also switched the I/O plate to the 14DSP SRB.
(check http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... &forum=3&5 for more details on this)

Anyway, I have a feeling that my problems were related to using more than 6DSPs worth of plugins as inserts, which didn't fit on a single (6DSP) card....

anyway, it's solved now, so I can move on
