I need some help guys Image
This is the situation:

I have a Pulsar2 board which is shown in the Registry window as Installed hardware including the HWSNO.

I have a second board, which is the Z-link IO plate that came with the Pulsar2.
It is mentioned in MYPAGE as second registered board.
This board however is NOT mentioned in the Scope Reg window, though all hardware In-Outs work properly and the soft modules can be load in the project window.
So far so good

Along getting my Scope 4.0 I bought the Minimax and the Prodyssey.
In the MYPAGE I registrated the Minimax to the Pulsar motherboard, and I can load it in a project as expected.
The Prodyssey however I HAD to register to the Z-link plate board, I got no other choice, I don't know why.

Now that I wanne activate the Prodyssey, I get the message that the requirered hardware isn't found:
'you must obtain a new setup file for the board you are using'.
I do have that file, it's the activation key.
But without the possibility to choose the right board (the Plate), it doesn't work at all.

My questions are:

-is it normal that the I-O expansion board is not mentioned in the registry window?
(It does work actually...)

- Is there a way to force the installation proces of Scope 4.0 to make it 'see' the expansion board and name it in the reg window, so that I can choose it in order to install the Prodyssey to it?

I know I can email CWA, but that may take some time...
There should be no need to rereg the Prodyssey, coz I have the needed board working!?
Anyone? I wanne hear the beast

thanks Garyb
But... maybe I'm getting the clue.
I got two 'SCOPE 4.0 activation codes, one for the main board, and one for the plate board.
I just activated Scope 4.0 for the mainboard , thinking that would be enough.
In fact I didn't think so much, I got it all at work, so I thought I was ready with the install of Scope 4.0.
A few minutes ago I succesfully 'activated' the second board on MYPAGE, and now I have to download my 'second' Scope 4.0 software.
I got an processed email with both activation codes and now it says with BOTH codes:
===>already used
I guess, if I install the new downloaded Scope 4.0, both boards will be seen in the reg window!!
I come back later, prob tomorrow, coz I have to leave home now for a drink

Without the recent discussion about the rereg issues I wouldn't have got to this point, I now think I get the clue a bit.
But isn't it strange, my Pulsar2 as hardware functions perfect, but to registrate a plugin to the 'second board' this board must be activated for Scope4.0 also...
I never thought of my Pulsar2 as two boards anyway
I come back later, I guess I will get it right, so far thanks for your attention
yessss, that Prodyssey...!!

EDIT: in fact I don't have to download a 'new SCOPE 4.0, but just a new Allkeys file, and use this one when installing again my Scope 4.0!
Back later

Alas, whishfull thinking of mine
I tried every possible way but I couldn't get the plug installed.
I have now both boards, the main board and the I-O Plate, activated for my Scope 4.0.
I downloaded the allkeys file plus a fresh new Scope 4.0, and installed it.
But the second board is not mentioned by the installer during installation, and also not when I try to install the Prodyssey afterwards by loading the plug in a project.

This is also strange:
in MYPAGE/Downloads on the CWA site I see the Prodyssey listed as registered to my mainboard, witness the HWSNO.
(There is just one hardware serienumber mentioned, that one).
However, If I look at the allkeys file, I finf the Prodyssey registered to the second board, the Plate, witness the HWSNO.

Anyway, trying to register the plug to the mainboard didn't work either.
So I send an email to webmaster ATcreamware.de.
This is gonne take some time I'm afraid  I'll grab the phone I think.
Thanks Gary for withthinking

So I have a general question:
Is there anybody who has a Pulsar2?
It must be, so could you please check for me if the expansion board is mentioned in the reg list?
You must go to Scope/Set/Registry, and check the registered hardware.
I would be glad to know if an expansion board standard is separately listed or not.
I guess not, coz it has no DSP of it's own and can't run the software.
Yet it's strange that a plugin had to be registrated to such a board.
There must be others who had to do that when they bought more than one 50%-plugin lately.
Anyone?
thanks,
hubert.

To me it looks like a bug in the registration part of the shop software, specially in context with that 50% discount.
Ashkenazy got an (unrequested) plug free - you got one licenced to oblivion...

Though I never seen a Pulsar 2 IO piggypack it would be completely wiered to have a serial number on it  and registration of such a thing is nowhere mentioned.
I agree with GaryB that Ralf is probably the best to deal with it.

good luck, Tom
