Did you guys try SX VST plugin automation? Press Write on the track, fiddle knobs or draw w the mouse... To save a device's settings without presets, you can program a change to that value for desired knobs.
This automation works also great on Vectron Player, where you can draw all Vetron parameters

Hi Drowningman.
Here is the original idea on how to use non XTC devices in XTC mode:
"I found it is possible to USE (only not modify) modular III patches under XTC:
- save your mod patch (ex:flexosaurus) under devices/synth directory
- copy one of your synth.dll and rename it (ex: flexausorus.dll) I used prodissey.dll for this"
It was originally from the Adern forum on how to use modular patches in XTC mode, but the trick is the same for any non-XTC supported device.
If the interface of your TD still wont show properly, you might need to load a MultiFX module first, and load the TD into it. I believe this is also the only way to save the TD settings properly. (by saving the MultiFX preset)
If you have followed all instructions and it still wont load properly, you should check out one of my old questions here on the XTC forum where Marcuspocus gave me some excellent advice on stuff I had no previous knowledge of:
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 1&forum=32
Hope this helps you, because its basically all I know about XTC devicing.

There is also a free one called Dominion referenced at http://www.kvr-vst.com
Pretty good, although SPL TD is WAY more clean and responsive

It seems I've worked out following your tips: using a MultiFX module it works, but I had to copy the TD device into the c:SFPDevicesXTC folder 'cause I couldn't see the TD inside the MultiFX module without doing this. I also had to rename the TD from .mdl xtension to .dev one.
In general it seems that the MultiFX module can't see all the plugins that I can see inside SX loading the FXtrack or using the insert slots.
Really strange behaviour: if there is someone who has an answer for this it would be great to know why

Many many thanks Nisse

Hi again Mr. Drowningman.
My first suggestion to you would be. . . to learn how to swim first
*laughs uproariously at his own joke*
Bad swedish humor aside, Im not sure I understand the part about the MultiFX module "not being able to see" every plugin that you can see in SX. . .
could it be that you are trying to load VST effects into the MultiFX module? If so, of course it doesnt work since the MultiFX module is a scope device and you can only load other scope things into it. . .

Eheheh Nisse, nice swedish joke: the nick simply comes from an old Cure song from the Faith album though... I can swim...
No, I'm trying to load SFP devices. Here's what is happening: in SX if I load XTC plugins in Insert (for example) I can see the TD Mono (for example); it won't load the interface but I can load the SX one and I can see it listed in the SX menu at least when I click in the insert slot. On the other hand, if I load a MultiFX Mono module the TD mono simply doesn't exist in the device list I can load in it. The same thing for other XTC plugins. The strange thing is that TDStereo loads inside MultiFX stereo properly and both its .dll and .dev files are close to the mono ones in the same directory. MultiFX S can see the TDstereo but Multi FX M can't see TD Mono. This is just an example, but SX sees XTC plugins that the MultiFX module doesn'y even list in his own menu.
That's it
Many many thanks fo any explanation (I'm happy to have the stereo one at least, but it's strange that doing the same thing I did for the stereo has no effect on the mono version)
