Hello again,
I would like to ask some help if possible about a problem I am facing. I am using Nuendo 2.0 with the latest updates, SFP 3.1c, & Gigastudio on a new PC doing mostly MIDI orchestrations. When I press stop (0 on the keyboard) and then enter, sometimes I get a slow response from Nuendo. It seems like the cursor starts moving but no music sounds and suddenly the music begins from bar 2 (for example) with a violent entrance. Ussually this happens if I push stop & start quickly enough.
The PC specifications are:
Intel D875PBZ
Pentium IV 3.06GHz
Kingston DDR400 2Gb
Matrox Parhelia 128Mb
3WD Hard dicks (one dedicated for audio, one for samples, one for programms)
Antec Plus 1080AMG case with 430W power supply
2XPulsar II with STDM cable
Hyper threading disabled
Matrox bus mastering disabled
Music XP.net tweaking
ACPI configuration (haven't touch that)
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Nuendo 2, Gigastudio & 2XPulsar II Problem
Don't know if this helps but...
Looks like a nuendo problem, not sfp.
In Logic there's an option that when stopped playing audio, the rambuffers are filled with audio so that when you press play you get a direct response (I befief its called "prepare audio when stopped).
Maybe there is such function in nuendo?
edit:
Sorry, Now I see you use midi, so the above is absolete. Mabe it has to do something with chasing events?
