Enjoy it Huub.
Weather is perfect and the snow is perfect too.
First time eh?
Be warned - day 3 is the make or break day. You'll feel as if you've got one leg belonging to a chicken and another one belonging to a giraffe
Get through day 3 and you'll be hooked for life.

Have some beer for me  (Zipfer)

And don't forget about the Jaegertee and Gluhwein as well as the Zipfer bier.
Try the germnkodel at lunchtime or a big grostl - plenty of energy for afternoon skiing.

I'm glad I'm not there with you - it always amazes me how such a wonderful race of people, living in a flat country, go totally mad when they get to a mountain. No sense of danger, no fear - simply "Wow, a slope - how fast can I get down it"

It was -18C most of last week but it's now warmed up to about -10, so it should be perfect.

Okay - I'm jealous!

yeah, it's a marvellous place, specially around this time of the year
Beautiful light, impressive rocks - Winterwonderland - remember Polanski's Vampire Dance ? It was filmed right there.
Wish you a great week, have fun ! though I consider the drinks more dangerous...

I'll take all your recommendations and warnings into account, special the 3rd-day warning, with my broken ankle last year in mind...
I took some lessons here at home, on a brush court, it'll be alright
prosit!

Send me a snowflake Hubird. I haven't seen snow in 12 years. (Moved to Oz from England)
Have a great time.
