my setup..
p4 1.7ghz, 256mb sdram, luna ii powersampler, winxp pro..

i recently formatted and optimised my pc for winxp, and installed nuendo 2.1.. before that i was using cubase sx 1.05 and it worked perfectly.. now whenever i record something into nuendo and play it back.. it glitches.. i think this is more of a playback problem than recording, since i recorded and played back fine in sound forge 6 and when i imported that sf wav into nuendo it glitches..

what could be the cause of this? better yet a solution? could it be i don't have sufficient RAM for nuendo 2.1?

Hello,

have you tried changing the 'audio priority' in nuendo2? default is 'high', change the setting to 'normal' and give it a shot.

insufficient ram may also be a problem. ideally you would want to have a min. of 512mb if ya use n2.

must be the RAM then...
