i just started getting these errors when i launch SFP:
"Hardware cannot be set up properly:
System error: timeout waiting for acknowledge from dsp 0 on board 0"

and
"Installation Error
Cannot start Scope Fusion Platform
(error code 0001)."

and then bugger-all happens. i've tried reseating the boards but no improvement. i am about to try just using one of my boards - i'm trying to avoid a total re-install but that's next.

Has anyone ever experienced these errors and solved them? i've never really had many problems before, certainly not of this magnitude.

My setup is:
MacG4 AGP 500MHz, 768 MB RAM OS9.2.2
Pulsar2 Plus and SCOPE SRB (SRB is main board, but plugs are registered to Pulsar2)
SFP3.1c

Thanks,
Mr A

That means that the driver can see the board itself, but not the dsp's.
Unfortunatly that properly/most likely/in my experience means that your card is "fried"...
Same thing happend to two of my Scope cards a couple of months ago. Nothing to do but sending the card in for repair...

After further tests it seems my Pulsar2 is OK and the SCOPE SRB is the sick party - by the sounds of it i'll have to return the board  Thanks for the info kim. Looks like i'll have to downsize my projects for a while to get any work done.

Ahh, that are bad news, sounds like you have to send it to CW, indeed.
Can you try the cards in a virgin system before?
