When using XTC Effect and instruments in Cubase SX1 how do you convert to audio? If I export it just creates a horrible noise. Also how do you create your final mix(Wav File) from Cubase? It would be interesting to see the various methods used.

Thanks

You route everything to merge output, then create a stereo audio track with Merge input.

You record the mix directly in cubase in realtime

Thanks for the answer. Do you mean I should set the merge output in the master channel on the Cubase mixer. I have looked at the manual and it says I should set the master channel to L merge and R merge, create a new stereo channel and set the input to L merge and R merge.

I have two problems with this. First my mixers master channel only has L merge available for selection. Second I dont have L merge or R merge available for selection in the tracks input section.

My setup is Pulsar XTC, Luna 2, SFP 3.1c and Cubase SX 1.06

Thanks
